2D vs 3D

If you have seen recent postings discussing 2D vs 3D then this article may interest you. Note that it is a lengthy article but provides an excellent overview of gfx related technologies and where 3D accelerated hw fits in. It's sort-of Linux specific but as you may realise... not really.
