Err, I don't see any use of this on windows. Why would you want to add a bloated dll or lib if you can use the Windows API ?
PS: cross platform is not the good answer

no real value for PureBASIC.
And IMHO it doesn't make sense for Fred to add this to PB.
It's a lot of work, needs to be maintained, bugfixed (in addition to the GUI layer that is already implemented in PB) and it eats up too much valuable time that is needed for other stuff.
Fred & Co. has to maintain:
PureBASIC for Amiga
PureBASIC for Linux
PureBASIC for MacOS
PureBASIC for Windows
and with that all implemented functions for GUI, GFX, 3D, Network etc.
To much work to do already.
