Does work same or better than MSN messenger?

I've installed it but haven't added any biddies yet, guess I'll take some time before people start using it. But I love the clean interface.

Does anybody check if the installation dont 'take' your PC as their Desktop Search does?
Im not sure about installing it, because my past experiences with Google's software was not nice (Google Desktop).

Its very lightweight, it doesnt use very much CPU or even memory. I also do not like GDS because sometimes it eats up all of the CPU.

I havent had any problems with GSD. Only for the first few hours as it indexed all of my files (as mentioned on the site). But after that, it has low RAM requirements and is quite convenient

Actually .. if you have a 1440x900 desktop, it's really nice
Just like GSD, Google Talk doesnt take over the PC
