PureBasic 3.94 for Windows released

Post by Fred »

Hi there,

Here we go, the beast is unleashed, grab it while it's hot on your personnal account (or by using Smart-Updater). There is numberous changes and fixes against the last release and the more important are, as many of you have already experienced, the new IDE and debuggers. We would like to thanks everyone who have helped during this beta testing which was particulary hard for us, due to the number of changes involved. Agreed, this version should have been noted at least as a major one, but the next big number after 3.93 is 4.0, and this one is reserved for a special purpose ;). So here it is, we hope you will enjoy it as we have enjoyed its development !

Have fun,

The PureBasic Team.

Would Fred or someone mind doing a copy+paste of the history so we can see what's been fixed and what is new? I'd appreciate it and it might give other people an idea of what to expect before hand ^_^ Thanks!

My hat is off to you Fred, Timo and friends. You are the hardest working developers in the civilized world. And your responsiveness to your user base is unparalleled. What makes PureBasic hands down the best there is? People. Focussed, dedicated people.

Good work PureBasic Team!

But there are still some bugs :(
And the AutoComplete shows everything beginning with the first letters.

Awesome - looks to be a great release.

Since this will be my first "release" update should I apply the smartupdate to 3.93 or my 3.95 beta (which I created seperately), or does it make any difference?

If it makes no diff I'll probably apply against 3.95beta 'cause I've updated those libs more.

cheers and thanks for the release.
