How many folks are actually using PB on OSX?
Fred, Freak, Kale and me makes four.
Anybody else who has done more than download and a quick test?

I don't see why it wouldn't be applicable to this forum...
But at any rate now that MacOSX has been hacked into normal PCs I may even look into it.
Is that all?

So no advances on four current OSX users?
No wonder this forum is a bit quiet

Might take a look on it soon, yes, emulating OSX on Windows. I just don't have the latest build, guess It's time to get it, lucky enough a friend has a G5, and he has no problem on hosting the cds on his ftp

- Notice I'm anti MAC though.
.
Will get some spare time soon to finish the spanish language file for the new PB editor as well

Im hording the downloads for when I get my mac in a few months. After the recent microsoft mistake (newest windows update causes bsod and csods ...) I really need to move to a mac sooner.

I know what you mean ColBoy.
I'll try and look at your "Simple App Not Working" post in the next couple of days.
No replies from anybody else who's using PB on OSX yet though

I am using it, but I'm not doing anything serious with it yet. Most of the apps I write are for work (we are a Borg shop) so working on the Mac is limited to small stuff for home use.
I think the support will grow quickly as soon as the final (non-beta) version is complete and a demo can be downloaded.

I'm using it on my PowerMac-G5, but I don't have much time. Also I was going to port a very small game of mine to Mac - but after I realised that WindowOutput() doesn't work I gave up as I didn't want to use fullscreen.
At the moment I don't really need a selfmade-app, so I don't code recently.
hope the team will continue to support *All* platforms...

Hi !
I've been fooling around a some time with Real Basic. It's a nice product - but they are changing their marketing concept to often. (RB is getting to expensive

)
Meanwhile I also bought a license of Purebasic: I discovered the product in some Radio-Shack Store (It's called "Saturn Hansa").
The only reason I was still interested in RB was: There was no version of PureBasic for Mac OS X.
But now - finally - there's a version of Purebasic for all OS'es
@The developers: Please go on with the development of PB for WIN,Mac & Linux. Because there *are* Users who are interested in a good crossplatform Basic Dialect. I think you should aim the target to the market of frustrated RB-Users (like me: using the buggy & expensive RB...) For e.g.: Ever tried to call an OS-Routine from RB ? I don't know a way in the *new*, Version 5 RB. It's even not so easy in PB - but it's possible ! For e.g.: Did someone ever try to export sourcecode in RB and to reimport it then to RB. I tried - it's not possible.)
Resume: PB is the better product - for me - and RB is getting too expensive ! So go ahead releasing the OS X and Linux Versions - please
Wish: could you implement a better oracle support in PB ? (without ODBC ?)

How far along has PB come on the Mac?
I just got my Mac Mini yesterday. You'd better believe I'll be downloading a copy of PB for it.

Hi,
Just found PureBasic for Mac OSX. I should absolute test it out. The Mac users need an new Basic compiler! I have worked with REALbasic in over three years ... every day... And have written the SEEdit XHTML Editor for Macintosh.
I think there are a lot of Mac users that not know that PureBasic now also works on Mac OS X.
