they rule. take the poll! well its just that i like much music. however for rock and softrock i prefer queen. otherwise i like much techno too. in fact also kraftwerk and all other modern music..

not all queen lyrics are that way. in fact its the hardest spoken lyrics they used in a song afaik.

well write what you think rules here! as i said my things are:

Queen, bob marley , kraftwerk, future trance united [dunno if they exist anymore however the ones they made was good.], Weird al, scooter, starsplash, eminem[only a few songs], ozzy [only a few songs], most german techno, much older music like creedence clearwater revival. well its basically most rock and then some techno [goa, well we can discuss that a bit.], dire straits, Gigi D'Agostino[best italian techno. ].. and much more. Prodigy well they are special! Groove Coverage.. Dune. well i only heard a bit of that however it seems like they were also some of the first in the rave wave that there was in 91 eg.. kraftwerk actually got very popular among ravers with "The Mix".

pop music, no, i hope you dont listen to britney spears or backstreet boys.. gay..... well i dont have time to write more! this is way offtopic saying my opinion about music, old and new. btw: go listen to http://www.slayradio.org/ if you just love techno/rock remixes of old amiga songs! some are better than other however most are good.

damn i write too much..! is Jan Wayne a german? Germans are known for good techno [and also in normal technology research]. they got kraftwerk damnit! and also rammstein wich are pretty popular. In fact rammstein sometimes borrowed a bit from kraftwerk. however if i forgot some good rock/techno bands write!
denmark and techno ~ well its splittet here. some like techno only others like shit music only. i like techno and good music only. but i have known some good techno fans. its not as disturbing as some people say. not much known danish music. some of you might know some like gasolin dj alligator?, Aqua! Aqua is probably most know danish people in music buissness. well they are not anymore but when they were i think a lot of people heard it. its not techno however some pop-techno..

Brice: well, you certanly havent heard queens song. you take 1 of 100 good and you diss it. its vertantly not the best song. and it is on 1 greatest hit album. there are 3 greatest hits, and its not usually on their "greatest hits" compilations. this just proves that you dont have a clue what you are babbering about.! its sad there are people like you coming and saying so. go listen to your favorite britney spears album, faggets.

allthough i must say that bohemian rhapsody is a quite weird song
but its good!

kale: oh well i mentioned ozzy too, as i actually think some of his songs are pretty good. i dont like slipknow but i respect it as one of the best hardrock bands. however i dont hate them too. i have only listened to a few of the songs, and i only liked a few. metallica is afaik a bit more soft than slipknow and they are pretty nice.
so well slipknot: i wouldnt buy a cd with them, however i dont mind if they are played at parties etc okay for me.

Actually, I have, that's the problem with being born in the late 60s. Freddie had a good voice, but this was rarely demonstrated as when Queen first came out, they were awesome. Powerful music, awesome vocals. Unfortunately, later releases failed to live up to the power of "News of the World", and eventually they became a complete mockery of themselves as demonstrated by "Radio Ga Ga". However, I am a huge Brian May fan and I currently use a Brian May Vox as my main practice amp.

Heck, I can remember standing in line to see Flash Gordon, just because Queen was doing the soundtrack (good soundtrack, too) for the movie. "Princes of the Universe" was awesome as was "One Vision". Unfortunately, they were also turning out garbage like "Radio Ga Ga", "Its a kind of magic".

There are parts 1&2&3 covering different parts of their careers. Of course, the same songs aren't on each one.

"Bicycle Race" is indeed considered one of their "best" and is on several "greatest hits" compilations: Greatest Hits, Platinum Collection, Greatest Hits- We Will Rock you Edition, The Crown Jewels, Jewels Volume 2, Gold, Obviously, "this just proves that you dont have a clue what you are babbering about"

I wont read your posts however if you think that someone sucks because he is or was gay, you're gay (gay minded at least) and quite immature by tagging someone for their sexual preferences and not, in this case, for their wonderful unmatchable voice. so shut up and listen whats good. you kids.

@brice: okay. well i just say that i dont think they suck. i agree the later years werent very good [allthough imho Heaven for everyone is a great single]. well radio gaga i like that too, but i agree it is a bit weird Brian May is good. In fact he sings well too.
Flash gordon soundtrack, i find it a good composition of different things. i mean, its not just a big number, sometimes freddie just burst out his voice and it sounds really nice.

Well, i dunno why you say that. i havent heard that about bicycle race. however i find "Dont stop me now", "Too Much Love Will Kill You", "somebody to love", "I want to break free", "one vision", "Death On Two Legs" very nice. more than those also.

well about all those greatest hits cd's i havent really heard of them.
but after reading this it seems like you actually do not think queen suck, only the later songs.

That's just my personal opinion, my feelings. You say "Queen rules" - I say
they don't - what's wrong with that? Talking about musical preferences is
kinda straining, we're talking about pretty subjective things after all.

Errm.. . What is "gay music" ?



Ah, I don't like Kraftwerk either btw. but that doesn't mean I don't respect
their work - same for Queen.
