Hi all,a while back I bought one of the `Boxed` versions of purebasic from ebay, only to find that it was an older version (3.10),I contacted Fred and he sent me a link to the upgrade offer, which a have just recently taken up.

So I just wanted to say thanks to fred, and all involved.

All thats left is for me to start learning this great language,I just wish there were more docs, such as GUI stuff.

:)

Well there is quite a lot of documentation if you know where and how to search! - But if you need something, just ask here.

By the way, welcome to the purebasic community!
Dont hesitate to post your questions though. The replies wont only help you, but the upcoming members as well!. If you take a look through the search of the forums, you'll find out theres a lot of "documentation" (interesting threads). I personaly didnt feel that PB lacked of documentation, and about GUI.. well if you know the basics its very simple. I programmed in many languages before I came to PB (and almost trashed the other languages.. exept by cpp).

Hi,the professional name given I believe is just for the look,as the software is no different I believe to the 3.10 version when it was current, also to the previous reply thanks,I def agree with posting for new users hence my post here to let others who are looking at purebasic know that if they do buy the ebay version that was/may still be for sale, they can get it upgraded here, and it will not cost any more,if not less than buying the full version.
