Hello everybody,

Finally here it is, the next step towards the 3.94 final.
I hope all the bugs you encountered with the last beta are now fixed.

As a little bonus, there is now a tool for code templates available for the sidepanel.

Note that there are no language files included yet, as there are some changes
since the last beta, and i did not want to include outdated files.

Get it all on your account on http://www.purebasic.com/

Have fun and bring on those bug reports (or better not ;))

The PureBasic Team

Great! can't wait to try it out....

Just one thing.... had a quick look and there still no mention of any flags for the Webgadget ?!

In another thread it was mentioned that Firefox was now supported with a #FLAG parameter....

Can we use Firefox as the engine? or is it still limited to IE only ?

The Visual designer also has no options for this?

I'll give the IDE a good thrashing tomorrow, now it's time for bed

The problem I've reported is still not corrected, it seems...
I've got some troubles when I'm using Tailbite with Japbe, I get an error, basically because I'm including some files : it acts like the current directory was Tailbite's one, so of course, the file cannot be find...
It seems include stuffs has been reworked (in a bad way) since 3.94 and 3.93 on linux (I'm less sure for Linux as I don't use it now)

@Polo: this is probably a problem with TailBite+jaPBe, not PB, I'll check it asap.

Maybe... or maybe not :)
But this kind of problems should not happen every new release of PB 8)
I don't know what Fred change to the compiler handling everytime...

An error has occured.....

I was typing "Select" I just pressed the l key and the IDE crashed as you can see in the screenshot. In Preferences under AutoComplete I have enabled the following:
  • PureBasic Keywords
  • PureBasic Functions
  • Variables of current Source
  • Variables of all open Sources
Other than that I think all other settings were at default settings.

Same happened to me, many times now.....

It's definately Auto Complate and I think it's with Variable of All open sources..... because I didn't get the same crash when I started a new file and closed all others!

I will turn this off today and see if it still crashes for me....

Missing features...

1. Could we add the feature for the F5 Compile option to create the executable in the same folder as the source code rather than in C:\Program Files\PureBasic\Compilers?

2. I'm beginning to sound like a broken record... Any chance of the NOT operator...

My code compiles well. Great job guys!!!
