What if I
don't feel like installing... ?
I got to tell you guys that an installer wont make your game any better

in fact, worst for many people. Like me, I dont install crap, no I aint saying this is crap, I'm just saying it doesnt diserve to be installed in my systems!! why dont people give rars with their game, no installers, that will make the world nicer for sure. Or I'm wrong?

A rar version please?, that only if you feel its worth

Most of the time, there's an uninstall with the installation, which allow you to uninstall all the install program copied on your hard drive, so I don't see the problem

Program runs fine here (WinXP / GeForce FX5200). Nice simple game for
the coffee-break. Would prefer a windowed version though.
Concerning games/apps with an installer.
Generally speaking for the majority of non-programming users an installer
is a definitately plus for a game to get played. Especially when it creates
a desktop icon or / and programm group in the start-bar. Otherwise the user
have to remember in which folder he/she unpacked that file.
A definate must is an uninstall option
Honestly you shouldn't forget that the majority doesn't know packer and stuff
very well.
Personally I agree with dagcrack that I don't like an installer because of the
fear that I do not have the control over the installement process (means I
am not aware what file is exactly be copied in which directory) ?

This is not a forum of average joes, or is it? I'll get the hell out then
Many... MANY uninstallers wont clean everything, and installers, some will add registry keys and they'll be there till I clean them myself, which is the main reason of why, when I know the author of something, ask a non-installer version. Because I dont like installers, thats all. The day someone makes a real professional installer, then i'll start loving them. You can see even instalshield.. their packing method is absurd, it unpacks to harddrive about 4 times.. by uncompressing the data also, so for installing a 600mb demo you need 2gb free for temps plus the 1gb or more the demo will ocupate at the end. this is absurd, theres no need for that.

@ Benny
Thank a lot.
@ Rest
You can load it or not.
Its your choice. I'll don't want to force you to play this game.

Many people don't want to use software with installers. But many people want s this.

Who exactly? I'm just commenting how people uses installers when theres no need, they just think it makes their application look "pro" (yes, tard thought from them, and sad thing is that its true, they think like that). Again im commenting... dont take it as a personal attack, I aint going to steal your beer, don't worry.

That's true ... if you post a game in this forum just for testing reasons I
would also agree that an installer shouldn't be added.
Nevertheless, I think in this case ... Hroutdwolf just wanted to announce his
final product.
