What means the "Z" in the PB icon?

I asked this question a long time ago but I can't find it now with a search.
Anyway, I think Fred said it didn't mean anything and was just an icon he
found somewhere and liked the look of it. Fred, correct me if I'm wrong.

The gear theme is cool, like the two that are on the main PureBasic home page. Some variation of that image would make a good icon. I have wondered about the "Z" but did not want to ask.

Im offering for the 4.0 icon and logos

Just because I love fred and his product (I dont love him in the way you think, pervert kid). Could make up to 10 different sketches and choose from there

- But please lets not make a contest for this, art shouldnt be judged like that

The three vertical lines signify the original OSes

--- windows
--- linux
--- amigaOS

The diagonal line charts their current development states relative to each other. (So windows is way ahead and amigaos is, well, amigaos)

With macos, another line now needs to be included.

The PB team is working flatout on getting this important enhancement finished and latest indications are the logo will hit the shelves shortly after PB v4 (windows).

BTW: There is a rumour that rather than dedicate too many resources to this herculean task, amigaos will just be dropped and the 3rd lined annexed by macos.

(Works for me).

just merge the lines of Z as following..

But there is a hidden part in the logo "Z"

moving the Z lines and form it for a F = Fred

Actually, the Z is Fred's wishlist. Being the author of PureBasic and catching some ZZZZs is mutually exclusive.

another idea of the secret "Z"....

take a clother look to the sign and you will see a "C" and "Z"... maybe the author of the logo thought about "Coders Zone"

I love this icon, it's ever so pure. And it's easy to see on my desktop full of icons. Please keep this logo I love it.

The Fred's nick is ALPHASound, Alpha is the first one in the greek alphabet and Z is the last in our one...
