Pictures from a recent visit.

Okay. Let me put this in the right spot -_- Accidentally stuck this in the announcement forum. How stupid.
Anyway, some friends visited me here in Seattle recently and we had a lot of fun. We made a day trip to Mt. Rainier and even had one of them join me in my boxing class.
The first picture is from one of the Mt. Rainier trails. The snow was melting a bit and only heavy in the higher parts of the trails. We followed one for quite a while but stopped when we met some real hikers that suggested we only go further if we had some ice axes
Seemed like a good place to turn around. I'm just glad I had my army surplus parka and old basic training combat boots. They were very helpful for trekking around the mountain, even if they peeled off some layers of skin from my feet >_<

This second picture is after Mt. Rainier. It was the evening but we spotted a horse rental place on the way back. So we all stopped and rented horses for an hour. It was great. I hadn't been horseback riding since I was a kid. I got a horse named Haley. She was the most stubborn and kinda clumsy on rocks
The guy gave me her since I was the bigger than the rest of my friends and had more experience with horses. Not much but more than them. She had a tendency to fall behind the other horses so I had to coax her and make her gallop at times. I didn't really want any kids anyway

Lastly, the next day we went to my boxing class. My poor friend was into martial arts when he was younger and is taking some Tai Chi classes now but man, he was so not ready for that boxing class. Probably didn't help that we were climbing around a mountain the whole day previous
I'm the guy on the left, of course. He's the one bowing his head in shame and exhaustion on the right

It was a lot of fun. I even *almost* felt sorry for him when we got to the sparring at the end
*Almost*
Here's a picture I took about two years ago during summer. It's a panoramic shot of Mt. Rainier. I think it turned out well. I'll just give the link to it because it's a rather large image
