Hi to everybody!
I hope I can be helpful to this community, I've just started using PB (I have Blitz2D and Blitz3D already, what is a competitor I guess :D )
so I regard myself as a beginner with it.

I am 33, I had a Sinclair ZX Spectrum from 1983 then a C64, then an Amiga, and I started to use PCs since 1993.
I am a retro fan, what doesn't mean that I don't like recent games, but my favs are older than some of the creators of these recent games...

I worked in the "industry" for two years (96/97) for a Hungarian-american company called appaloossa. We worked on several titles for SEGA and SegaSoft (Sega Megadrive/Genesis, Sega Saturn, PC). I was fed up with the long hours after 2 years (and got married   ) so I changed and I program ORACLE database application since.
I graduated as a programmer, and started painting later.

I worked for a year as a freelance artist in 2004 (beside my daily job) and now I feel myself ready to join the indie-gamer scene.

I concentrate on new game styles, mostly for kids.

I might be critical with some projects, but I am not evil at all, I only want to help but never be irritated, mine is only ONE of the opinions.

Bye,
Peter

Hi Peter ....

welcome on board - hope to see you involved in some purebasic projects
soon. Guess there are a lot of ppl around here who are alway looking forward
to work with you together.

Enjoy your stay ;-)

Btw ... IMHO it is always a cool deed if especially new members of the forum
have the possibility to introduce theirselves to the forum.

In other non purebasic forums I visit there are special sub-forums which re-
presents a place for new members to give an introduction of their work and
interests.

What do you think about such a forum :?:

If the answer was aimed to a moderator then it was aimed the right place. :)

Personally I agree!
I was a bit lost where to post it, and since I want to concentrate mostly on game programming that's why I did that.

Thanks for the welcome! :D
