PureBasic Forums - English

i recently created a Group in for PureBasic's Spanish users ... i think there are many users that want a forum in spanish ... well now have a comunity in spanish for PureBasic ... The link??? ... ok the link is:

I'm from Norway, should we have a norwegian forum also?
I think it would be best if we only had a english forum.

I just hate all the german purebasic pages, I can't understand a shitt.

I personally speak spanish (although my english is quite better :p) anyway, I would never change a php forum for a yahoo freebie group account!.. If any of the spanish PB users wants to donate hosting space, I can administrate a featured community site for us, the spanish PB users with no trouble. But please.. not yahoo groups !! .

Although, we are not 100 guys speaking spanish and using PB here, I only know 1 or 2 from my country at here, and maybe a max of 8 that speaks spanish here? - Thats not enough for even having a separate section on this forums "Spanish Purebasic Programmers" or something like that...

De todos modos, si quieren programar, sepan que el inglés es la mejor manera .. el español, diria yo, no existe en programación.. si quieren cambiarlo, bueno, hagan el intento.. pero no lo creo adecuado, por lo menos no si somos tan pocos.

Yes you are right ... the yahoo group is so little ... that i am thinking to cancel it ... we only are 3 people in the group, but i was waiting to have more people, and may be it will never happens. I will close the group some day ... soon...

Mi ingles no es muy bueno que se diga, hablo mucho mejor español (mi lengua materna) y portugues (vivo en Portugal) ... aquello que dices de que no existe el español en la programción, pues es muy cierto ... yo (que adoro el español) siempre escribo en ingles los nombres de variables y de cualquier otra cosa que utilizo en programacion ...

Making some forum in spanish could be good to promotion PB to the spanish language community.

My suggestion is to have some

spanish.purebasic.com
german.purebasic.com

for alternative communication and for making promotion of PB with search engines.

I think in he forum there are 2 or 3 more people from Argentina as i am, and 4 or 5 from spain... another spanish language people here? Will be nice to know them

it would be great if all the spanish talking users of this forum put a reply here ... i want to know if its posible to have a "spanish.purebasic site" ... Fred have the last word ... the yahoo group will die

I think we need to use Argentina's spanish in the spanish forums

I think argentine style spanish is very good (far better!) for tango singing, but for the would-be forum, any spanish could be adequated, even lunfardo.

lo0ol ... if we talk about "spanish styles" ... i think the best is Castellano .. ( i was born in venezuela ) ... but the very best for this or another (IMO) ... is the "traditional spanish" or "Internationational Spanish" ... (like in M$ Word Spellchecker) hehehe ...

I keep on thinking that we are not enough for a forum.. I mean, if we were 30 active spanish programmers, then yeh give it a go! but we aint even 10 I think.

I'm spanish too. And yes, I think this will be the best way for the new Spanish users know PB.

I don't think that this makes much sense. in two years we'll have an englisch, german, spanish, norway, Chinese, ... forums. I don't think fred can host all the forums.
