Yes, I agree. Idigicon was very excited about publishing a PureBasic book, and are anxiously awaiting its going to press (which SHOULD happen next week, by the way!).
But they built Coder's Workshop because they are trying to help all types of Indie developers (and to sell products, obviously). They decided on making sections specifically for PB, DB, BB, C/C++/C#, etc. to try and keep the playing field level for these development languages too, which makes it an excellent resource to help sell non-Idigicon products such as PureBasic. When a person checks out the boards and sees a bunch of posts regarding PB games, a book on the language, resources that work with it, and a supportive group of people, that user will likely want to then go and check out
www.purebasic.com and potentially get a purchase for Fred
So, all-in-all, it's a win-win for everyone!
Unfortunately, at current, the PB section is pretty sparse compared to some others. But it seems to be growing a little bit day-by-day.

Not trying to pull people away from here, but it would certainly help Fantasie software to have a presence on that site as well...besides, it's got a nice showcase system!
All the best,
