Quite simple really. Only allows one instance of your application. See
the included example & help file.

Just type OpenMutex() .. and hit f1 ..

Yeah, ok. First of all. That install is was not easy. I don't just create an
install and compile it. I make sure that it is fully functional, tweaking out
the install script, etc.

As for dummies. You don't have enough posts to be using that word in
these forums.

When I get home from work. I will post a .rar with all the files in it.
Zip is for dummies..

Just as an FYI, the help files are linked to the libs. So that when you use
F1 while over one of my functions\procedures it will take you to the help
file, if the help file is in the /help dir.

NoahPhense, I already failed to convince you on IRC but I'll try it again:
IMHO you should write down some small descriptive lines on what to expect
with your libraries. That way possible users don't have to download the libs
if they don't need it. Seen the other way around: It's much better advertising!

i like the installers
and also the libs! ProcessIt is nice

edit: As geotrail, i agree with traumatic!

I like the installers too.
Why spend more time than nessecary copying files when you can spend that extra small ammount of time coding. For me time is of the essence and I prefer libs with installers.

And I agree with traumatic. And offcourse RAR rules *lol*

You are correct. I should post on my site & here, what the libs do and
some of their functions. I totally agree with that.

Thanks. I've spent A LOT of time on these installers. Because as you
already know, nsis -- even with using the commercial version of Venis,
that you still need to tweak them out.

@everyone else
My installer keeps things clean, and when you uninstall, you can find all
of my apps in your Add/Remove. Under:

LBDT (lib or app name)

Everything is removed. Nothing is left behind.

Also, not that I even use them. But in the Start menu, you will see that
it too is organized. Feel free to delete them as they are only short-
cuts.

I do agree with all of you though when it comes to other peoples installers.
I don't like them when they are from people I don't know. Because I always
like to know what files were installed and where.

So here is what you can do if you want a zip or a rar. I will show you
how to locate my files easily. Then you can make your own zip & rar’s ..

Locating anything from me .. search the PB structure for LBDT ..

Locating a specific library, search for the primary name of the library.


I wont allow you to make more work for me. I work long enough.

PS - The installers have been redone (again)

I've changed the name of the uninstallers from: (i.e.)
Mutex Uninstaller.exe --> LBDT Mutex Uninstaller.exe
Easily located in your purebasic directory.. or you can just
use the windows Add/Remove programs.. my apps will be
found alphetically under (you guessed it) LBDT ..

Ok, I'm going to go make some coffee. Then I will be updating my
website to show what the libraries are about, and what files are included.

Possibly it could. But rar has a nice recovery record option that I use on
all of my rars. I've been using rar since it first came out. I've never had
a corrupted rar file. But I used to download corrupted zip files all the time.
