My app has a thread running that checks memory addresses (of another app) from a linked list.

As long as i am in my own app, the thread runs fine.

The moment i switch to the app of which the thread is looking at the memory addresses, the thread will work still.. but after about a minute, the thread magically stops working but the thread ID is still there so the thread hasn't been deleted..

Any idea what's going on here?

Nope, just a few ReadProcessMemory() things in there, no strings.
