forum is acting strange - I thought it was just my system...

an example is if i want to reply I have to go back and find the message then try reply again - the 2nd time it works... is there a timeout???

All fine for me... no problems at all. Maybe it's a local issue?

It could be that the default cookie name has not been changed for this installation of phpBB. If you go to another phpBB site that has the same cookie name, it will overwrite this site's cookie. The effect is that you always have to login.

I find that if you aren't logged in on entering the forums clicking the "log in to read private messages" button will log you in and still show new posts.

I think it's because the URL changes from

forums.purebasic.com
to
http://forums.purebasic.com/english/

Yeah. I have as similar problem. First I have to login twice, then I cannot see the new messages since my last visit. At this point the adresse bar shows : http://forums.purebasic.com/english/ ; replacing 72.9.234.170 by forums.purebasic.com + reloading the page is enough to show the new messages.

:?: Maybe this problem is more DNS-related ? Can't tell.

Leave Fred alone. PB 4.0 would already be out if Fred wouldn't have had to deal with all of the forum issues a while back.

It has been rather "dodgy" for me most of this evening.
