When Fred says 'Fixed'!

With amazing rapidity, Fred often answers a thread with 'Now Fixed'.

What does it mean?

Does it mean that the correction is now available for download or that it has been incorporated for release whenever that happens next?

If it is immediately available what is the procedure?

Download the latest version or is there a patch file that can be applied?

If it is a full download, does one have to remove any previous versions installed?

fixed is short for "fixed for next release",

You don't habe to uninstall the old version to install a new version. Typically you just patch the current version using the update tool built into the IDE, but you alternatively could download a complete install and just install it over the old version.

Had a peep, noticed 'Smart Update'. I guess that's what it is!

Many thanks for your responses.
