Hi Fred,
Now that you are full time on Pure Basic... would you give us a sneak peak on what's coming in the coming Pure Basic version.

As some of you already know, I'm now working at fulltime on PB since yesterday and that's really a strange feeling.. I like it ;). There were almost no news about me since 1 month due to personal life issues, so I have to apologize for this... But it doesn't mean that nothing has been done on the PureBasic side. Basically there is a big under the hood work to cleanup the development base (setup of an internal CVS, reworked the whole the doc which was still in HTML to docmaker format so RTF/PDF and other strange doc output will be possible). On the linux side, the debugger has been added, many bugs fixed and the forthcoming IDE for linux (16000 PB lines) is now compiling and (almost) working :).

The next major PB version is now in heavy development and a beta should be out in a few months. In between, I plan to fix up all the remaining bugs and release some minor releases.

To sum up, here is the immediate development plan:
- Finish and release the v3.92 for Linux
- Release a v3.93 for Windows with all lastest fixes
- Put some more work on the MacOS X version to have an usable version
- Update the 3D engine with the last OGRE sources

Ok, I will stop to speak and get back to code ;)

Have fun !

Fred.

He posted that a few days ago, and I have been drooling with anticipation ever since

... and that's still excluding all elements of my endless wish list :-)
