Wow, for those of us in Australia I just found out that PureBasic v3.30 is on
this month's "Australian Personal Computer" (aka "APC") magazine's DVD!
This is the FULL version too -- not the demo (although the v3.92 demo is also
included). I doubt free updates would be available with this version, but it's
a good way for anyone lurking here to get a more realistic feel for PureBasic
with no API and source code size limitations, etc.

UPDATE: Here's the magazine's web site: http://www.apcmag.com/
Here's the DVD page: http://www.apcmag.com/apc/v3.nsf/dir/cd
High-quality cover scan of the magazine cover by me (742K JPG):

I think it's great that PureBasic is getting into the mainstream press at last.
It can only be good for the future of the language. Congratulations, Fred!

Maybe it's one of the reasons he is now able to work at home :D

I don't know, but in germany it is a normal behaviour, that magazins include fullversion of older software.

For a good program is this the best advertisment.

They have of course asked before put it on the cover disk ;). Thanks to Paul to have relayed the news.
