A Niggle and a Nag

I have to do this.
For a while I have been unwell, and was quoted a 10% chance of survival. (this is not a sob story, btw).
Approx one week before Christmas I was in the Brisbane Private Hospital and going under the knife, the definitive cut, as it were.
Funny things go through your mind as you lie waiting on the trolley thingo. Including things you should have done, and haven't.
Anyhow, everything went well, and I am very lucky.
The niggle?
One of the things I was regretting was not telling everyone here how much of value that this community has given to me. I still haven't, and it is niggling at me.
So, to everyone here, thank you. Sincerely. Not just for the code.
(And to Fred, I have tremendous respect for your skill).
The nag?
If you smoke, throw away the durries! Or any other similar crap.
Anyhow, you're a great bunch, each day is a gift, and God is awesome.

I was supposed to have stoped smoking this fall, hmm maybe i should try acupuncture..

good to see you back!
i only smoke whilst on the job... that is, steam coming from my ears... i might pick up smoking as i'm pretty damn sure am going to die from a heart disease due to stress before tobacco could ever kill me

I've lost a lot of good friends and relatives in the last year due to smoking. and I am glad to finally get one good story.
