Hi everyone,
the sendmessage api call seems to fill in just about every void in purebasic in relation to gadgets. Can someone tell me where I can get a full description of this.

take a look at the Microsoft MSDN:

Here you can find different controls (in PB called: Gadgets). For every control there is a subsection "Messages" which shows different messages and how to use them with the SendMessage_() function.
