On one hand you are asking for other programmers to help you make your idea of a game reality because it is out of reach for just you, and on the other hand you want these same people, who you are asking to help you, to convince you they are worthy to help you? In otherwords, I need help, now convince me why I should let you help me. That's great man, I like the unabashed dichotomy of thought, the coming together of two different ideas: on the one hand the "I need help" persona, and on the other hand the "I don't want some dummy who isn't going to take my project seriously to help me" personality.
What does the acronym "ARRTS" stand for? Are you looking to develop with existing OGRE commands in PureBasic for the 3D (not sure how possible, or how easy that is going to be) or 3D sprites arranged to make the puzzle? Also, what are the plans once the game is finished, marketing, selling, and what sort of contract are you prepared to sign if your plans are to sell to commercial markets (i.e. evenly divided proceeds for members or 60 - 40, 70 - 30 split sort of thing)? In otherwords, if you believe the game is going to be "real cool" like you stated, what assurance do team members have that after it's done, you aren't going to go out and sell and cut them out completely?

starhawk what are you talking about?
I think he meant the "convence me" part for fun!
And why would team members want to have a insurence?
Why couldnt a game be "really cool" for free?
And finally, why would anyone want to get money for it?
I would love to help him for free. Yes F-R-E-E, but im not good at game
programming. so dreglor, if there is anything i can do to help you, i would love to do that. But since its a game, i dont know how much i can do. App programming, ok i can do that.
And again starhawk, take it easy. Im not the moderator of this board, so i cant tell you to do that and throw you out if you doesnt, but i can ask you, as a forum member, a purebasic programmer(like you), if you want to do that.

the thought of selling is rising in my mind alot. it proably will be too but it depends
at the moment i just want to get it going
i been trying to make this a reality since last winter i done thousands of lines of code but it so unorginized,bug, fragmented i decided to start from scratch
and don't focus on the "convince me" i was just for fun...
@thefool
judging from what i have tried i think i am as good as a programmer with out a keyboard

@Dreglor
1000s of lines of code? Woaa, that sounds cool. What does the acronym "ARRTS" stand for, and are you using OGRE, 3D Sprites, or 2D drawing to the screen programming?
@thefool
A cool game can be "free". Who said it couldn't? My question is not if the game is free, can it be cool? My question is, if the game is so cool that Dreglor decides to sell it, how much of a cut do team members get and what sort of safety mechanisms are in place to ensure team members don't get burned? As far as "taking it easy" fool, you're the only one that's getting your feathers ruffled; Dreglor understood well enough what I was saying and how I like the "convince me" part ("aka. That's great man, I like the unabashed dichotomy of thought").
@Kale
LOL... what the.... you be dangerous with a little HTML.

Hi Dreglor, I know how you feel writing this post, I love to (try to) code games since my first 8bit computer
The sad thing is that I finished about 2% of all the project, basically because I love do "invent" and "find solutions" but making a game really playable and really "complete" is really a hard and DULL task.
Anyway I'm still happy for all those million (?) of hours spent coding (now useless) gaming algorithms.
Just a question, "3D real time stratagy / logic puzzle" is really cool, (I love those kind of games too) but seems a big task. Do you have some experience coding simpler games, such as a 2D Asteroids clone?
Again, I know how you feel, so don't be discouraged by other people, they simply "don't get it"

@blade
i wouldn't call all of it useless i always use snippits in other parts of my programming
well i guess i'll be doing it my self (other than asking people to help parts of it )
