I'm curious how many of you are professional programmers?

What languages do they make you use at work?

Anybody managing to make their living out of Purebasic?

Used to be, long time ago...... now I pretty much support large corporate programmers mistakes :(

Used to use 'Watcom C and MF Cobol', and M$ C

I'm sure some do, I don't see why not as the language is capable of it. I'd love to of course, but it's that initial 'good idea' that I and many others lack!

I use c++ under linux at work. A long time ago, I used purebasic in windows for some small applications. Now, I need a standard language for current project, and selected c++ because it was more complete.
I'll like to have a little more time to make some libraries for linux version of purebasic. I wait I can do it soon. ;)

I've been programming professionally for 18 years and loving every minute of it.

Languages I'm currently programming in are Clipper, Delphi, Python, Visual FoxPro, VB, VB.NET, OPL and of course Purebasic.

I have managed to write the odd utility in Purebasic for commercial use, but do my main development if VB.Net, Delphi, FoxPro and Python.

I WISH I coded for a living. It is one of my life dreams, along with sky diving, scuba diving, and playing half life 2 ;)
