Hum...
Never uninstalled a game so quickly...
Only played the first level...
What a pile of crap!
A friend of mine has already finished it in 10 hours in the hardest mode...
The AI is so crappy Quake I monsters are smarter
(and trust me, they were dumb)
Nice game engine, but very crappy game...
I hope this is not the Future of FPS...
I pray for Valve to give us HF2... And show all others how gaming is done

I'll like to play Doom3, but my GeForce 5200 is tooooo bad. I can't play at low resolution
I need a new graphic card, or install Doom1.
Anybody played Serious Sam? I think it is like old doom, lot of monster,
cooperative, very fun... Well, I always liked cooperative matchs

serious sam 1 and 2..
really funny when you are coorperating. last time we where 7 or so with a goal to finnish both games. we completed with much fun, and went playing unreal tournament and c&c generals: Zero HOur hehe
we like the older games

major money maker for id has always been the engine, so i guess they want the engine to sell, perhaps not even the game...

The engine is their biggest moneymaker - virtually every new age OpenGL game now will use a modified Doom3 engine. The Chronicles of Riddick on XBox used the Doom3 engine even before Doom3 was out - except Riddick was an absolutely fantastic game.
People were bound to buy D3 though, because they all want to see it for themselves - and ID makes another big bundle of cash.

I hated Doom 3 too. You need a $500 graphics card to get a decent picture and the game play is same sh*t, different monsters. Nothing new here - and if it is new, it isn't impressive.
