Is it still possible ,somewhere in the internet, to send free SMS? And I mean really free!? I googled around but did only find things like getting annoying advertisment or paying credits for SMS or somethings like that.
I'm especially interested in German SMS Services, but a worldwide service would also be ok

Ad free might become very difficult, but try
www.wassollwerden.de
You may also send one free SMS per day at
www.sms.de but also with a little ad inside the mesg.

In the uk you can go to
http://www.o2.co.uk/ and register your phone with them, then you get a login and can send (from their webpage) 30 free text messages a month. Strangely it doesn't have to be an o2 phone.

Hy, merendo,
sms.de is the very last I would choose. You have to Register with Phone Number and full adress, and you may choose - what would you like best: An Advertisment SMS every day or every third day?? I hate spam.
www.wassollwerden.de looks nice, but I can't find the SMS-part. Can you help me there?

Sorry, wassollwerden.de does no longer seem to provide an SMS service. Try
www.funandfinance.de click sitemap and look for SMS somewhere. Not certain whether it works but you could try it. It is, however, not ad free.

Thanks merendo!! That's just what I looked for!
No, I'm not in general against appended advertisment, I only don't want to get extra ad-SMS, every week or whenever!
One big point for you
