it could be great if reading and writing of xml files was directly supported in pb.

i know that it's possible through some DLLs ( xmlparser.dll is a good one ).
Directly in pb with all the standard purebasic features ( ID like openfile(id), compatibily with other OS, easiest access... )

just a suggestion...

I would love this too. XML seems to be where everything is heading even though it can be pretty slow to parse. I guess readability nowadays really is more important than speed!
