Savefilerequester() and Sprite problem [3.91]

Hello everybody!
1.
I've a problem with the Savefilerequester() under Mandrake 10.0.

Code: Select all

filename.s = SaveFileRequester("Save","","All | *.*",0)

If CreateFile(0,filename)
  WriteString("sali")
Else
  MessageRequester("","")
EndIf
CloseFile(0)
If I type in a name for the file and click save, filename.s is empty!!
If I choose an existing file to overwrite, it returns the name without problems :? But I want to create a new file :evil:

2.
I can compile the example "sprite.pb" without any problems. But if I run it, the screen opens but I can't see any sprite in it :? I installed sdl again but without success :cry:

Can somebody help me please?

I am using Mandrake 10 and I also have the issue with SaveFileRequester.

The sprite example works fine for me though. Did you compile it in the sources directory? The sprite is refereced as if the root is the '/usr/share/purebasic/examples/sources/' directory: LoadSprite(0,"data/Player_1.bmp",0)

Ok I try the sprite example again later.
I've a new problem: sometimes the MessageRequester is empty 8O
MessageRequester("Finished","Something") sometimes it shows normal and sometimes it's empty.
STRANGE!
I try to install GTK and SDL again...

It is hard for me to believe the SaveFileRequester issue is a Mandrake 10 only problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
