I am downloading onto a Windows XP pro platform and i notice that the download size varies:
PureBasic_3_91_(3agh83).exe 6.460 KB

or the other way round: IE might screw up your download. Try it with NetAnts or NetTransport (or a better browser

Gentlemen,
I have found out what caused the problem. I was downloading onto a section of Harddisk that did not have enough memory.
I was downloading onto C:/ drive which was already complaining that it ddid not have enough mem and i ignored the message and did so anyway - result was i always got the above message.
Now i have moved my entire development area to E:/ drive with about 2 GB of overhead, (free memeory) and downloaded the PureBASIC there, and it works! setup is just fine!
Alos , I have attached japBe editor and Win32Api Library to it and all work together very well. I am impressed!!
So, sorry about the EMERGENCY - especially to Andre who was first to respond to my request.
Everything is okay now.
Anyone else with the same problem should try what i have done.
