Capturing an image from a web gadget

The topic says it all... This is what I'm trying to do - get a totally portable *static* format of a document for printing and email. I've implemented an HTML solution but I'd rather be able to capture the rendered contents from a web gadget as an image and print/email/save *that*.
I know it's a long shot but I thought I would ask if it's possible...
Thanks!

I have no real answer now but what about using a shortcut to the Print keyboard key ?
It should allow you to perform an internal PB copy / paste of the image you got and to redirect it using a popup or a menu ...

Use a post script printer, than convert that .ps data to an image, with
a resolution of your choice, create a simple image viewer, that reads
your files..?
