Hi there. Im new, just joined now. Im currently using the demo version of PB and I hope to purchase the full version very soon (that is if my dad lets me use his credit card).

I hope to use PB to make 2d games and apps, but Ive been doing a lot of research lately into DirectX access via PB. I want to use the power of DX8's 3d sprites, and combine them with the speed of DX7's DDraw. Does anyone know of any good resources/tutorials to help me achieve this? I have only found C++ tutorials and, with me not knowing any C++, I find them hard to follow. I have about 3 1/2 years of BASIC coding experience. Numerous searches for DX in this forum have uncovered little that is helpful. I was hoping that someone with experience could help me, or point me in the right direction.

Cheers :)

Uhm you can use PBs Sprite3D and Sprite functions, which are compatible with Windows and Linux(on Windows the functions are from DirectX and on Linux they are SDL I think). There are a few examples in the examplesdirectory of PureBasic.
