This works fine under Windows, but not on Linux.

Length = ReadData(*MemoryBuffer, LengthToRead)

Length is supposed to have the number of bytes read, and it does so under Windows.
On Linux, it returns 1

Anyone else seen this happen
Is it a bug, or is this the way it works on Linux
