x10 protocol DLL

Hello,
I needed to use the x10 protocol on Windows but found nothing so I ported a linux lib to windows (x10 protocol is used to control elements like a plug, a store, etc.. trough electrical wire). A little DLL is available, and sources too (in C), and a little PB console program.

Turning a device on/off via command line works great :
Now Pure Basic can controll the AC electricity in my home!

Don`t tell me you`re making an X10 controlled coffee maker and beer cooler for those late night coding sessions
Also, does anyone here know much about using X10 in the UK?
How does the signal stay limited in the house, and not affect anyone else on the same street with any X10 devices?

NEWSFLASH
Citizens of the United Kingdom were truely united last night. United in shock and irritation, after a freakish prank perpetrated by a computer guru known only as "Doobrey".
The lights of the entire nation flashed out a 10-4 message in morse after "Doobrey" had hooked into the national grid with his x10 technology.
"It was pure hell!" said one citizen, who wishes to remain anonymous. Inside sources doubt this, believing it was Pure Basic.
Authorities are now seeking "Doobrey" and a shady accomplice known only as "Fred". "Doobrey" was last seen driving an austin A10 down the M10, x10 installed in the ignition to boost speed 10x. It is believed "Doobrey" now intends to head to Southern California, there to hang 10 whilst evaluating the US national grid.

Sure I do
I don't know about the UK, but in France each house is independant, because of the electrical block (where all the electric items are controlled) filter any variation in the AC. Anyway, this techno is somewhat cool, I use it to start the wash-machine at work from a web page (and yes, it even work from a mobil phone) so all is ready to pack when I comeback

LMAO..Nice one Dare2..but just cos I have long hair doesn`t make me a guru..
Although I`ve caused a few of them coding on the Amiga
BTW, did anyone see that Blinkenlights thing done a few years back, where they wired up the lights of an office block, then used it as a display to play Pong ?
