Accessing harddisk SMART info

Does anyone have an example of how to access SMART info on drives
with this support, specifically how to access the hard disk temperature?

i tested the vb example and it worked.
but of course a similar example can be found here :

I don't know anything about VB, but maybe I can get the idea.
