Already waiting for many hours. Watching SpiderBasic.com and SpiderBasic.fr.Fred wrote:ps: we will release an alpha version probably later today so you can take a look by yourself (still very WIP but interesting to play with).
Maybe at least some run-able web demos, after announcing it yesterday?
@J. Baker:
We already requested Linux and Mac OS X versions. Kiffi was just not sure
with some path stuff on the other platforms. Beside that, PB2Web should
run on all platforms, as it is basically just a text translator tool from PB to
HTML/JavaScript. Kiffi said he would like to concentrate on one version and
platform for now, for faster development. Should be cross-platform later,
if some guys are willing to help at PB2Web forums.
HTML/JS output already runs on more platforms in many browsers.
We tested some stuff on iPad, Surface 2 /RT, and Android devices already.
If Kiffi decides to make it OpenSource, it should instantly be available for
Linux and Mac OS X. Many experienced programmers could help speed up
development cycle and bug-hunting. The big advantage of OpenSource.

Don't forget, Fred announced a product in Alpha stage, after nearly one year of development.
Final product may be many month/years away, and I am pretty sure he wouldn't have announced it here already,
without PB2Web becoming too dangerous for him. PB2Web has been discussed in german forum for 8 month already,
and I'm pretty sure at least freak watched this threads and how many interest PB2Web generated and how
cool the idea is in general.
Now it just got too much international interest, after announcing PB2Web here, too.
Weird coincidence, bitter aftertaste.
