Why not make PureBasic Open Source ?

For everything that's not in any way related to PureBasic. General chat etc...

I strongly feel the "Open Source PB" sentiment would fade if PB had a plug-in system to customize/optimize the IDE.
There are many efficiencies to be had writing custom tools, but not all actions are supported with the environment variables.
The nice thing about standards is there are so many to choose from. ~ Andrew Tanenbaum

Charge a small fee for updates. It might not prevent boredom, but it'll keep you motivated in developing further.
Microsoft Visual Basic only lasted 7 short years: 1991 to 1998.
PureBasic: Born in 1998 and still going strong to this very day!
