Hey Timo, gj..
I know you have the listing here in the first post of:
Code: Select all
- new PureBasic 64bit Windows version
- new PureBasic x86 version for OSX
- Ogre update, and many new commands (see below)
- Complete restructuring of the Debugger for better stability and support of the new platforms
- Added: OnError support for all platforms
- Added: Support for multiple Joysticks
- Added: Compiler warning support
- Added: Debugger warning support
- Added: Language support for Co
But is there an updated readme somewhere. Or should I just copy and
paste for my own records?

I just came on board with version 4.20. 4.30beta1 looks very attractive!
Will there soon be a Linux version of the upgraded Visual Designer?

How long it will take time before PB 4.30 for 64-bit Linux is available?
The x86 version doesn't work here, or I'm too stupid to do so.
While compiling this error comes:
PureBasic - Linker error wrote:
/usr/bin/Id: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.2.3/../../../libpthread.so when searching for -lpthread
/usr/bin/Id: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.2.3/../../../libpthread.a when searching for -lpthread
Can anybody help me? Can I use the x86 version on a 64-bit Kubuntu?

Very exciting news, but none of the Ogre examples work on my Intel Macs : on compile, PB keeps asking for DirectX9 (ouch !) and hangs forever until I force-quit
Am I missing something important, or are these examples Windows-only ? I have downloaded and installed the X86 beta, removed all 4.2 versions of PB, etc.

..again
Is there an official 'readme' for this update? Or do we just rely on the data
contained in the first post?

The announcement here is the only feature list for the moment.
We will update the docs during the beta phase.
[edit] ... so close!
