But boy... if we use a Tomahawk then it will cost a lot

And we could suffer some kind of explosion you know...

I'd say tokamak

 is safer.
Dreglor: ODE is a dynamics engine, say a physics engine. Collision engines are apart, a whole different world. Some physics engines has collision detection integrated, sometimes you'll want more than that. you'll need a collision engine then.
If you look carefully you'll find out a tokamak wrapper for blitzbasic then you'll be able to use it in purebasic for SURE. Later on theres ODE wrappers as well, some with real big nasty bugs... some others with no bugs, but they charge money FOR A WRAPPER (look at the world we live at...).
ANYWAY tokamak 1 was released for commercial usage since last year, as the team dropped it and started to work from scratch on version 2.
Enough said, I give my vote to any of those engines (trueaxis, tokamak, ode) I only got serious experience with the last two of them.
And yes, the developer of True Axis is very friendly and seems to fix most of the reported bugs.

I'll just vote for 3d and I'll use whatever engine that is going to be used in the game.

Let's lead the sheeps a little , We'll work on a 3D game project, we most agreed with that.
Now, lets agree with the kind of game, later with the technology involved.
Its your decision!

It looks like cost money also. There are plenty of open source engines we could use like Ogre3D.

Why exactly is the Ogre in PB lacking anyway? I haven't used much of it so I don't understand.

it becasue the engine is object orentied and has nasty c++ in the dll which I personally can't make heads or tails from i guess niether can others
thats why fred is writing the functions in c also to make it easy for us
I like basic gl is perfect but it going to cost next version and theres a watermark in free version....
gizmo3d seams to be a bit complex it has 3 dlls
maybe source forge might reveal better engines

Gizmo is nice (and my dog's name is gizmo as well, like the gremlin hehe

 ).
I believe one of the dlls is for the 2d module the other for the 3d module and the third one don't ask me, I havent got time to check this engines bones

I was just suggesting it by 2 reasons: has nice features - i've seen it in action and is pretty fast - and its free, not commercial.
Maybe now they changed the licence?!? it was free as far as I knew.

				Lets get this started then.
I suggest we should setup a small forum to discuss everything about the project. (instead of flooding the purebasic forums

 ).
I could host something.

By the looks of the thread I don't think a community game can be done. But I'll help anyway but I don't think it will be finished.
