@Klonk
Since it's now an "official PureBasic product" you'll find the latest version in the download package of PureBasic.

@Polo maybe you can add this info in the first post? There I can only find the link to your website which has the beta3 for download.
Thanks
I'll try to update it as soon as - latest version is shipped with PB 5.

Great project Polo!
I have to confess your new form designer had completely passed me by until today. The reason I stopped using PureBasic, even though the compiler was great, was because I felt the IDE and particularly the form designer made development a slow process. It's great to see something so polished taking shape now.
I think I've found an issue though; earlier in the day I was using the form designer on XP and I could anchor gadgets to the window's edges using the properties tab, this evening I'm using it on Vector Linux and there are no options for anchoring gadgets.
Keep up the good work!

Hello Weave and thanks for your comments!
Have you tried to play with the Lock options? I think it does what you want?

I think it's probably the issue ts-soft referred to, it's an older version of the form designer that's included in PureBasic's Linux download.

On right-mouse click there are some gadget alignment options - but how to pick multiple gadgets?

@Polo
How easy would it be for your form designer to output a different programming language?
I think a tool like this would be great for

Cheers,

I found out that if you have "LeftPanel = -1538" in FormDesigner's config-file the error above occurrs.
But please do not ask me how this negative setting found its way to the config-file

For the moment I have two wishes

:
1. to drag a common control from the toolbox into a form. In the form the control will be placed in standard dimensions
2. double click onto a common control in the toolbox opens the common control in standard dimensions on the form
Great job! Congratulate
