Unfortunately no. I don't understand the code enough to fix it for myself. As long as I don't click in the main game area, I can click on different riddles(puzzles) and even click on the solve button and that works. As soon as I try to grab a piece the program seems to lock up. No error messages though.
I've been busy working on other projects recently so it's on the back burner for now.

@Mindphazer: I'll enhance keyboard support a bit more.
@moulder61: That's unfortunate. I will install Linus on a virtual machine, but this will take some time (has no priority for jow and I'm a Linux noob). Since I just use PureBasic commands this could be a bug (I doubt that) or a an unfortunate coding style by me.

@jacdelad

I don't expect you to install Linux and try to fix it just for me.
It worked fine until you started using Mr.L's vector graphics. I don't have enough programming skills to know why that would happen?

Apart from not understanding the program logic and how to work around it, I could be tempted to try to do a sprite based version, but I have other things I should be getting on with really. I started programming a fruit machine game about 2 years ago and haven't finished it yet!

My main problem is that as much as I like the idea of being a programmer, I'm not that good at it. I'm mostly guessing or making stuff up as I go along, so if you ever saw the code you would probably either laugh or be disappointed.

Anyway, if you have the time or inclination, go for it. If you need any help getting PB running on Linux, I'm quite good at that.

I'm not good at programming too. But as you can see here, ideas are everywhere and with some of them plus the graphics from MrL it looks rather good now.

Ok not just installing Linux because of your problem, I wanted to do this anyway. Firstly for learning about it, secondly for testing my stuff on Linux. We'll see if we get it to work, but this will take some time.

About your game: Don't be sad if you abandon it. Some projects are not meant to be finished, and that's ok.

I'm happy to try to help you get Linux working, if you need any help. I've been fiddling with Linux for 25 years and I'm still learning. :)

Regarding the game, it's not abandoned yet. I get stuck trying to get something working so go off and design some wallpapers or install 20 Linuxes on my box to play with instead because it's easier.

I can't find what I need to know in the help file, forums or on the internet and I only know one person who programs and he knows less than me!

This is how it looks so far but there's a long way to go.

Aye, the graphics are already looking nice. Looks like something for a Raspi or such. But still: Just do it if you want to. If you force a program, it's not fun and not worth your time!

I'll contact you if I need help with Linux!!

Thank you, I really love this style games :)

Let's see if someone is encouraged to make versions of the Smartgames ones (https://www.smartgames.eu/uk/collection/pocket-games), as I have no more space in my drawers to store them!

Thanks zikitrake!

I'll maybe do another game one day, I like these: Image
(The game where you have a couple of cars blocking your car and you have to move them forward or backwards to move your car out)

And also these: Image
(which are pretty easy to solve how matter how big they are scaled...if you know how to).
