I have processes up to 100% to load the processor. I kill them, after a while they start up again. After uninstalling the program.

I don't see what dnscope has to do with any of that, maybe you have something else that's conflicting with it.
what are your system specs?

Also to uninstall you do it via the menu File -> uninstall the uninstaller needs to go to the temp folder to execute

I returned the contents of the original file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and now I have no CPU load.

I still don't see what this has to do with scopes up! It doesn't read or write to hosts.

I'm working on a portable version. You still need admin rights on the host machine to configure it, but then you can use it from USB on any machine you've configured it on.

https://dnscope.io/idlefiles/DNScopeSet ... .4.3.b.exe

Copy it to the portable media then run it.

note currently the uninstaller will reset the host adapter to the last host you ran the setup on. I need to fix that.

Why is your site flagged for containing Malware?

Probably because a lot of anti-virus are considering compiled PB programs as viruses or malwares.... :|

Google doesn't like dnscope.exe and claims its unwanted software citing that it effects users browsing experience in a negative way. The fact that it's got nothing to do with Google or Chrome is beyond their logic.

Yes I kind of had to as the internet cops refused to unblock my site and download.

I've just open sourced DNScope under GPL3 since I've been struggling to code for near on 6 months as I'm suffering post viral fatigue which is like having drunk a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster on a good day.
“The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy also mentions alcohol. It says that the best drink in existence is the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, the effect of which is like having your brains smashed out with a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick.”

I've already had dnscope running on osx with minor changes.

Thanks LJ, It's a challenge but I still have a sense of humor, I just don't know what I'm doing half the time!
In the mean time here's DNScope
