Unfortunately, a reasoned discussion of the merits of PureBasic are not possible in the presence of such vitriol.
Truly, I only feel sadness for your state of mind. No contempt. :(

Aside:
Adding to Danilo and MachineCode's nod to C syntax is my appreciation for the elegance of inline ASM and the commented output in ASM. I welcome these non-BASIC additions and profit from them.

This is truly sad, especially because you appear to be a somewhat intelligent person, Ion. But I suppose those eccentricities I noted are showing through.

The only person here who has lashed out is you. Although you acknowledge PureBasic is not what you were expecting, you still clamor to make baseless accusations and assertive incorrect "truths" about it; which is preposterous given your lack of actual usage experience.

When confronted with these truths you simply lash out more, and hurl insults about us, and then try to act like we are jealous of you or have mental defects of some sort... If I didn't know better I'd call that psychiatric projection on your part; transfering your own short comings on to other people.

The fact you don't play well with others who simply disagree with you and try to hold rational discussions about your assertions, is telling enough about what kind of person you really are. Unfortunately this isn't your gambling forum, and we are not ardent gamblers trying desperately to win the jackpot on the last dime of our life's savings: So you won't be the center of attention here.

As noted earlier I have googled you, and what I found was not very impressive. You are constantly combative and quick to label anyone who challenges your ideas or disagrees with you, a "Liar", "thief", "jealous", "stupid, idiot, etc", "evil", "not a good person", and you consistently display a state of paranoia about everyone around you that can only be classified in medical terms.

That being said, I have download your source code as posted on your web site, and a third party PowerBasic IDE to look at your code (already fixed two typos, by the way). I have no vested interest in gambling itself, but since you have thus far failed to backup your claims of PureBasic's performance inadequacies, not to mention having not posted any PureBasic source code, and other such drivel which is clearly wrong and based on inexperience, I will do it for you in my spare time. (That is, when I'm not busy writing the next awesome "Hello World" program).

I am not doing this out of spite, or some ill-placed desire to "be like you". I simply don't like to see the tools I use, unfairly maligned without any sort of substantial evidence... And I encourage others to do the same in defense of PB.

Have a pleasant day,
You insane clusterfuck of a person.
:)
