Hi Sveinung,

after a long and hard fight (me against dx9 shadows) i win. Physiks are workings and shadows too. For now i must implement this as commands and make an error check to create the new version, but it looks good and i am happy

Hello,

in a few days will com the next version of MP3D.

I had problems with shader model 3 and ati graficcards and so i write 27 shader for a testpropgram. If anybody have problems with the program, please tell me that. I need information about the graficcard and operating System.

You find the shader sourcecodes in the next version of MP3D and the download of the testprogram is here:

best regards Michael

Link is bad... Anyway, I've tested with both 4.51 and 4.6b, and I've illegal memory access on MP_InitShadow() and MP_CreateMyShader() lines in several examples. (I've installed the D3DX9_43.dll - 1.998.168 bytes , is it the correct one?)

Apart of this, physic, frustrum cullum works nicely! I had a shock when I saw epyx objects, the scroller fx, great!!! :D

Thank you for good work :)

If you send me a test code with the shadow error i can mak a look on it and repair it. Does the Shadow demo codes work?..

Works fine on a newest computer. How could we know what capabilities are missing ? I think you have to test and report errors in a nicer way.

Hi Djes,

i have tested shadow on different PCs. My oldestem is a Windows XP with AMD XP 2000 and a ati graficcard with pixel and vertex shader 2.0.

Please say me what os system you have and cpu with how many ram? what say the demoprogram in extras\MP_Grafikkartencheck.pb? The lib needs the d3dx9_38.dll file

I will help, but i am only a lone human  I have some error detection in the lib, but in this case it is a new error and i don't know why, but perhaps we find the problem... ...

Greetings Michael
