A great effort appreciated.

I just downloaded the manual t discover it was still 4.30 on the website.

When will the 4.40 manual be available - any idea?

just updated my asus ati radeon EAH3850 Drives on windows 7 and i'm still getting

Error GLViewPort() in a notification window when i try and erun the demo OpenGL.pb :(

can anyone please tell me what i'm missing or doing wrong
Currently using PureBasic 4.51(x86)

FWIW, OpenGL on ATI has been increasingly problematic over the years due to continual driver issues.

thanks for your reply.. so it looks like i'll have to go and buy an nvidia card.. if no one else has a solution.. i'm sure i'm not the only one with this problem.. although i did a dearsh on my error and came back empty

I wouldn't do that. I was just making a point. I have watched the hell Josh goes through with his 3D engine over the years and the majority of the issues are ATI and ATI not knowing how to write drivers for OpenGL.

Viewports are very problematic on modern graphics cards, but normally only under DX.

I am sure somebody else will popup, as I do not use the 3D engine in PB.

Just curious, but try running some of the simple sprite examples, but use the opengl subsystem and see if that will work?

You have an up to date copy in your purebasic package. Dunno about the one on the website.

I guess that afriend is referring to the PDF-version, it's still version 4.30.
The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.
