What are the news included in this update?
There is no update for 4.10 yet.

Just like always the update file you are seeing will update existing versions of PB to 4.10

I think it's not a new PB4.10 update.
It's just another way to install PB4.10.
You can install PB4.10 two ways :
- with an installer -> "Download PureBasic 4.10 full version for Windows"
- upgrade from a previous version with UpdateTool.exe -> "Download PureBasic 4.10 update for Windows"

If you mean this: "Download PureBasic 4.10 update for Windows"

It's PB 4.10. Not full, but the update to 4.10 from previous versions.

EDIT: well, I see you got your answer already :)

So I just updated to 4.10 but it keeps crashing. I tried redownloading and installing it again but it crashes. (WIN XP SP2) I did notice while downloading both times, it stalls at 6 seconds remaining, for a few seconds. Not sure what that's about.
PBCompiler.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Make sure it's going into a clean empty folder.

Thanks, but that didn't help. That was my fifth time downloading it. And it keeps pausing around 5 or 6 seconds remaining. I'm guessing this is corrupting the file some how.

I just downloaded the file and installed it to a clean folder, no problems at all, so the file itself is ok. Possibly try restarting your computer as a remnant of something might be conflicting.

Thanks, that did it. I'm not quiet sure what could have been conflicting with it, as I've never had this issue before. Thanks again, netmaestro!
