I was thinking: Could a PDF version be made dynamically, for example by
putting the name of purchaser as a very faint watermark across each page,
like a background image? That would be an idea to reduce sharing risks.

Just recieved mine within the uk,ordered the 1/8/06 got 9/8/06.
I did not have any import fees.

Ordered mine 28/7 (evening) and it arrived 8/8 (lunchtime), no extra fees, delivered to Sweden in a cool brown package... Hehe...

Delivery was good,my only problem was that the packing was torn from top to bottom,but luckily the book was ok.

No probs, hope it will be of use.
Cafepress seem to be a very reliable company. I've tried a few other printers just as a test and frankly cafepress's print quality and rapid turn-around leaves them all behind.

My copy arrived today. It looks pretty professional. I noticed the pages are tinted yellow. Was that on purpose? Cost savings? Or?
I can't wait to get into the book some more and see what I have been missing.

Mine are yellow too. (I think cost savings but I don't bother)
Have already red 80 pages and actually learned something

The yellow hue is actually their standard paper and im sure i read somewhere that it enables the text to be read more clearly. It shocked me when i first opened the book, but now i kinda like it and i think it does help readability after all.
