Looks like CryptMemory library have been removed. Any chance on putting it back in? I do see a "Cryption" library with the downloads, but nothing to Encrypt and Decrypt Memory ...

My apologies then. The guy who runs PureArea.net incorrectly listed the library, CryptMemory as part of PBOSL.

Hi Shannara,

They may be the same thing, or the PBOS may be a later version?

If you download PBOS and look at the PBOSL_CRYPTION source you see the authors are shown as Dirk Geppert/Mischa Brandt, and Mischa is listed (on site) as the author of the lib you refer to. There is also a function "CryptMemory" in the PBOS lib.

Not sure, but seems a reasonable guess.

Ok, I must be missing something then

Im looking at the download (just downloaded again, to make sure I have the newest),

In the help file under Cryption, it has the following procedures:

DG_DeCryptFile
DG_DeCryptFileToMem(File.s, key.s)
DG_EnCryptFile(File.s, key.s, [ToFile.s])
DG_MemoryToStr(*source, ssize)
DG_StrToMemory(Text.s, *dest, ssize.l)

Am I looking in the wrong place? Say I have a memory block, and I want to encrypt that memory block, which one of the above do I use? Or I am probably missing something, tis late night right now.

Next Weekend (2006/05/21) we will changed the PBOSL_Win Libs to PB4 (not all included!)
If requirement of the libs for PB3.94, download it before, after this termin no more download for that. But you can download the source on webpm and rebuild the libs!

mh, why not do just following.

idea 1:
just make an extra folder called "Libs_v3xx" or something to the archive where the old libs can still be found...

or idea 2:
when making a new v4 lib pack available, why not still let an v3.xx archive available (if someone still need or want take a look to it) ^^

i would vote for idea 2 ^^

We make no more changes on that, the source is available. no problem.
With a extra link, i have question of support and so on. no time for that, sry.
You can make an inoffiziel link for that, no problem.
