Your Hitchhiker's Guide to PureBasic
If you've ever stared at lines of cryptic symbols, feeling your sanity gently fraying at the edges, PureBasic is like coding with a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster – minus the brain damage! It's a language that understands your existential dread of the command line and squiggly bits in curly brace languages, and so, when in doubt, remember DON'T PANIC, Press F1! Help is at hand and if that's not abundantly clear then perhaps your unaccustomed to the fundamentals of logic and should instead turn the computer off. However for the completely obtuse DONT PANIC! a splash screen can be fashioned that says DON"T PANIC, Press F1 and RTFM! written in big, friendly letters, before you unconsciously embark on a rant babbling incoherently about you failure to press F1 which even a Babel Fish couldn't translate!.

This isn't some convoluted basic dialect only spoken by some hyper-intelligent shades of blue. PureBasic is the essence of clarity, distilled through countless millennia of galactic frustration. You won't need your peril-sensitive glasses here, for all the truly terrifying, mind-bending complexities of the API's and libraries! They've been neatly tucked away. All 1600+ of PureBasic's built-in commands handle the frightening gnarly bits for you, freeing your precious grey matter for more important tasks, like contemplating the meaning of life, the universe and everything, and also why your code still has that one tiny bug.

Forget the bureaucratic nightmares of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation; their designers had absolutely no hand in this. There's no inherent depression embedded in every line of code, no perpetual optimism that somehow manages to deflate your soul, PureBasic compiles in an instant and it more than just works it inspires. It compiles your thoughts into impossibly fast, native executables for Windows, Linux, macOS, Raspberry PI, and even the more obscure platform which only a handful of eccentric enthusiasts still rumble on about while drinking cup's of tea and staring vacantly at the fading phosphor spot on their ancient VGA CRT plugged into a very large brick called an Amiga.

So, if you're looking for a language that gets out of your way, lets you build applications with the efficiency of a Vogon constructor fleet (but with infinitely more pleasant results), and prints "Don't Panic" when you're teetering on the brink of despair, then PureBasic might just be the answer to your programming woes. Just remember to bring your towel and cup of tea for when your relaxing on the bridge of the Heart of Gold while passing through the coordinates of ZZ plural Z alpha!
