defininty needs better format support, ARM w8 and linux support would be cool, maybe android and ios .app compiling via sdk in roadmap

EDIT: I don't think most people here realize how close to abandonware PB is.. The few developers all have jobs and lives which historically speaking, always leads to abandonment of demanding products and projects.. It's proprietary too, so if they don't work nothing get done..
How can I believe that PureBasic is nearly dying when I see the devs working constantly on this software with fairly recent updates. Also, I have seen (and downloaded) wrappers for the Irrlicht engine for PureBasic and that is a very good engine.

Let's see...45 posts per day for four days straight, and most of those posts are announcements of a beta bugfix.

1. You are ignorant about the status of the developers.
2. You are ignorant about the work they are doing, currently.

Sure, the formula often ends in abandonment, but Fred has promised to open-source the compiler before it gets abandoned. There is no reason to disbelieve him, since he has o/s'd one version already.

right.. 2 developers.. 1 working for the last ~2 years who also has a full time job. I'm not gonna argue on it though cause it's pretty obvious and I'll only get redundant poorly thought out pseudo-contradictions till the thread gets scrapped..

PureBasic is here for more than a decade, which is a long long time for a software and it will continue. I'm now working at full time on PureBasic and I think everyone out of here can see the results. So please post your trolls somewhere else.

Well I hope he cleaned it up...

Fred and Timo are not human. No way can 2 guys do so much work. They must be bots; FredBot and TimoBot.

That's my theory anyhow. :)

I'm a troll? :(

I'm now a bigger fan of fantasia software, and all the stuff they and their affiliates release/sale in the future. 8)

Since you are working fulltime on PureBasic, you have too much free-time Fred!
You shouldn't read and answer annoying threads like this.
Just work on the next update.

If you have alternative opinions based on nuances like facts(note how everything I said is paraphrased from the front page of the blog..), you're a "troll".. how convenient

It's no wonder there are over 20 bugs the two devs admittedly don't have the skills to fix.. This IS just a FASM generator and ~30% of the IDE functionality is even bugged..

EDIT: you can ban be now so I can stop correcting the half-talents on your forums and pointing out your stupidity..

30% !!!

I don't know which IDE you are using; but it is not the same one I am?

ts-soft's point should be obvious.
You can choose the level of whiz-bang IDE you like.
From Notepad to PB-IDE to NotePad++.
I use all of these, but the PB-IDE is way more efficient for pure coding.
For massive or redundant editing, I have to head to NotePad++ or write PB code that re-writes my code.
Given the passage of time I'm sure more IDE enhancements will come or even plug-ins that would enable us to integrate more automation into the PB-IDE.
