And that shaving Gerbils shit, Man I am still wiping the tears of laughter away after that :)
You think that's funny??? srod is so mathematically inclined that he shaved my entire crop into neat little squares!! They look like a national gerbil chess convention!!

Then I found a couple with a 3d chess set ferret glued to their backs and I lifted up one corner to find NetMaestro's copyright.

What a mess.

@Rashad
I think KG left for good after some trivial issues in the german forum.
If any of you native English speakers have any suggestions for the above text, please let me know (via PM). Thanks!

Never thought this would happen, but i hope that Stephen won't be able to resist the temptation to open the IDEs of future PureBasic versions. This forum owes a lot to him and he's been a great help for all of us at the expense of his time.

I wish you the best of luck with the new business Stephen :).

This will also give me time to get to grips with those sheep that fangbeast keeps sending me. The bastard never told me that you had to feed the damn things!
We had a gentleman's agreement that would wouldn't sneak into my yard at night and shave my gerbils (and whatever else you did to thoroughly traumatise them) you pervert!!

Feeding them is the least you can do as I have almost no money left to pay the gerbil psychiatrist specialist. He costs a bleedin' fortune and he sheds fur all over the place damnit!
I am no gentleman, no sir! As for the gerbils, well you left the gate open! What's a non-gentleman supposed to do? You dressed that gerbil up deliberately to look like Kate Beckinsale just to entice me in you swine and it took me nearly 3 years to escape. Do you know how sharp their claws are? And as for the teeth... srod shudders.

:)
...and as a parting gift (well, not actually parting as he did say he'll still peruse the forums), he leaves the world a new link to click on when they search the net for Kate Beckinsale... :)

best of luck Stephen!

Well, it's pretty sad but "a great loss"?

Doesn't this better fit for a funeral rather the occasion of somebody leaving an internet forum for a nice programming language?

I thought it was a funeral notice at first, too.

Of course, "loss" or "great loss" can refer to the death of a person, but it doesn't necessarily have to refer to a death. "Loss" can also mean e.g.
the disadvantage that is caused when somebody leaves
If in doubt, look into a good ditionary. ;-)

By the way, I think netmaestro is a native English speaker, so I'm pretty sure he knows what he is writing. ;-)

It is a phrase commonly used when a death is involved, but it's equally common when, say, a footballer has a long-term injury and can't play for some time. So, let's think in terms of the latter
